Victoria Dertouzos, M.A., CCC-SLP

Victoria is a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Speech & Stuttering Therapy of New Jersey. Since launching her private practice in 2020, she has grown from a solo provider into the owner of a thriving multi-clinician practice, now leading a team of four speech-language pathologists. Prior to opening her practice, Victoria worked as both a school-based and medical SLP. Like many clinicians, she quickly realized that graduate school had prepared her to be a therapist—but not a business owner. Building a successful private practice required developing an entirely new skill set, including marketing, branding, client acquisition, pricing, systems development, hiring, leadership, and creating a sustainable business model. Through years of hands-on experience, Victoria has learned what it takes to build and grow a practice without sacrificing quality of care or personal fulfillment. Today, she is passionate about helping other SLPs navigate the transition from clinician to business owner with greater clarity and confidence. Through personalized coaching, Victoria provides practical guidance and actionable strategies to help SLPs start, grow, and scale private practices that align with their goals, values, and lifestyle.
